Questionable Ghanaian media personality Okatakyie Afrifa Mensah has refuted reports that his recent arrest was allegedly caused by a personal issue rather than his political claims.
Afrifa was detained on Tuesday by Ghana Police Service crime system soldiers. Following his arrest, officers reportedly conducted a search at his house and obtained a warrant for his home and allegedly conducted an electric search.
Initial reports claimed that Afrifa, who has just become a thorn in the decision NDC government’s side, was facing more oppression for his political tendencies. information that he was detained by admitted National Security Operatives because of his frequent attacks on the leader.
But, it eventually became clear that Afrifa’s arrest was connected to his ex-girlfriend rather than anything political. The former television host is alleged to be engaged in retaliation, where one threatens to release affecting images of a previous lover. So, his ex reported him to the police after his arrest, so they searched all of his electric devices as well.
Afrifa acknowledged that was the reason for his arrest when he returned to his” For the Records” show on Wednesday night. He vowed to correct his ex-girlfriend for lying to him.

His assertions were insufficient to persuade social media users, who criticized him for being unable to keep up with Kevin Taylor, his mortal foe.
