Controversial media personality Rex Omar recently apologized after criticizing his performance at the Ghana Music Rights Organization ( GHAMRO ). Sally explained in an appointment on Hitz FM that Rex Omar was upset by her statement that “he couldn’t be trusted with income.” She said,” Uncle Rex wasn’t content with that, and I apologize for that”. She continued, adding that although she respects him personally, that her opinions were based on the numerous claims made against him while he was the GHAMRO chair.
Before, Sally had questioned why Rex Omar, despite being a brilliant musician, should be considered for a supervisory role. She praised his song but criticized his authority, saying he struggled to manage people and resources. Sally even questioned why he was accepted into the Creative Arts Ministry because she thought he failed to deliver benefits while working at GHAMRO.
