Kofi Adoma has revealed that he was shocked how the Dormaahene, Osagyefo Nana Agyeman Badu II, failed to check up on him after he was shot in the eye covering the Kwafie event in Dormaa Ahenkro.
According to the Ghanaian media personality, opposed to speculations, he doesn’t need any cash from the Dormaahene but basically it would have been suitable for the prince to check up on him after he was injured during his event.
Kofi Adoma for the first time spoke up about the vision injury he sustained while covering the event and the fallout of his wounds.
Speaking in the presence of his wife and whole household, Kofi Adoma revealed how he received a visit from one of the Bono leaders to support the 25th anniversary celebration of Dormaahene’s enstoolment.
He said he went it with his staff and during the ceremonies, he got shot and lost all his vision. He revealed that in the aftermath of the killing, he started bleeding.
Adoma said following that, he was taken to Dormaa Hospital. After receiving care, he wanted to even go back and continue covering the festival, but he was simply to weak and in pain, and eventually flew to Accra, before eventually being transported outside the country to get treatment.
The Angel Television number touched on the news that Dormaahene has failed to check up on him since the affair and confirmed it. According to him, he is absolutely shocked that after going back home to protect his own home event, he never received any telephone from the Dormaahene to check on him. He said he has no interest in taking money from him but at least the King could have shown some worry about his problem.
