Nigerian Gospel song Timileyin Ajayi was arrested for the murder and killing of his partner, 24-year-old Salome Adaidu.
After being discovered with a bucket containing the victim’s severed head, Ajayi was apprehended close to a church in Orozo, a frontier town between Nasarawa State and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).
Upon his imprisonment, Ajayi apparently confessed to the crime, expressing no shame. According to him, Adaidu was “always cheating” on him and as a result he doesn’t lament taking her career. He added that after discovering her conversing with another man, she and another gentleman got into a heated argument that led to his death.
When religion users noticed Ajayi’s suspicious behavior during a company, the horrible discovery was made. In a local valley, he was seen attempting to rid of a black nylon case. Upon fight, he fled but was eventually apprehended by competent members of the congregation.
However, the Nasarawa State Police Command has taken Ajayi into captivity, and investigations are ongoing. Nigerians are outraged and sorrowed over the event, with several pleading for justice after the tragic decline of Adaidu.
