”I prefer to die in prison”: Moustapha Diakhaté rejects all freedom provisionally

Le délibéré du procès de Moustapha Diakhaté et Bachir Fofana, initially expected on Wednesday, was once again postponed to 23 July because of the strike movement of the clerks. And, from his cell in Rebeuss, Moustapha Diakhaté has denounced his detention, which he calls “political hostage-taking”. Rejecting all provisional liberty, he affirms that he would prefer to die in prison rather than to caution what he considers as a judicial maneuver orchestrated by “magistrates carriéristes et soumis”. The former president of the BBY parliamentary group also asked his relatives not to request a visit to the Dakar prosecutor’s office. With senego
