Alhaji Dr. Ibrahim Bello, who served as the Emir of Gusau in Zamfara State, has died at the age of 71. Kabiru Amadu, the representative for Gusau/Tsafe in the House of Representatives, has confirmed the passing of the Emir. He stated that the traditional leader passed away in a hospital in Abuja after suffering from illness for a while. Dr. Ibrahim Bello, who was born in 1954, has died. On March 16, 2015, he was installed as the 15th Emir of Gusau. His appointment came from the former governor of Zamfara State, Abdulaziz Yari, following the passing of his brother, Alhaji Muhammad Kabiru Danbaba, who had previously held the title. He passed away on March 5, 2015. Information regarding the funeral plans has not been disclosed yet.
