The recently sworn-in Greater Accra Regional Minister, Linda Akweley Ocloo, has vowed that she will correct the state’s lamps issue within the first 50 weeks of her time in office.
Ocloo in an exam said that within 50 times, a majority of Accra’s lamps may be fixed.
She made the promise to address one of the biggest issues plaguing Accra, which has remained unresolved by numerous succeeding administrations.
” In reality, within 50 days in business, all these stuff should be fixed. At least 70 % of the lights may remain fixed, according to me.
” So these are some of the things we are going to verify, and like I said, I am going to operate together with the MMDAs,” she stated.
His Excellency John Dramani Mahama, the chairman, named Linda Akweley Ocloo as the Greater Accra Regional Minister shortly after taking over the helms of the government on January 7, 2025.
Ocloo quickly passed her verifying approach in ten days, becoming the fastest nomination ever to be approved by Parliament’s Appointment Committee, making history.
After fixing the lights problem, she plans to introduce the Cleanest City honor and National Sanitation Day to promote economic hygiene.
