The founder of Living Faith Church, Bishop David Oyedepo, has vowed never to join partisan politics.
Oyedepo claimed he would never join partisan politics even if he is given $1 billion to persuade him.
He disclosed this during an impartation service at Shiloh 2025, at the church’s headquarters in Canaanland, Ota, Ogun State.
Oyedepo explained that partisan politics is not his course in life, hence the decision to stay away from the venture.
His words: “In 2015, I warned the church that trouble was coming. Didn’t trouble come?
“Partisan politics is off my calling. If you give me $1 billion to join politics, I won’t, because it is off my course.”
Oyedepo noted that the world urgently needs divine intervention due to the urgency of time.
“The world is groaning in darkness, but as written in Romans 8:19, the whole world is waiting for the earnest manifestation of the sons of God,” he added.
According to the bishop, believers are being prepared as an end-time army to provide solutions to national and global challenges, drawing parallels with biblical figures such as Joseph and Daniel.
