Sista Afia, a 40-year-old Ghanaian Afro-pop pain, has revealed her plans to return to medical despite her latest full-time musical responsibility.
The hitmaker from” Jeje” and” Slay Queen” shared in a recent interview on Onua TV that she is currently focusing solely on her music because of her nursing career. Nevertheless, she intends to pick it up again in the future.
” Best then, I’m a full-time singer, and care is on hold. When I get to the age of 40, I’ll go back to nursing”, she stated. Adding a touch of humor, she said,” It’s been a while since I stopped school, I’ve even forgotten how to spell Chloroquine”.
Sista Afia worked as a registered nurse in the UK before launching her full musical career. Before moving abroad to pursue her knowledge, she first studied care at the Reverend John Teye Memorial Institute in Ghana.
She left Ghana in 2015 to pursue her musical love, which has since made her one of the most recognized voices in the Afro-pop field.
