Thousands gathered at Meat World, Springs on Saturday to celebrate 30 years of top-quality meat, great value, and vibrant community spirit with live music, food, and entertainment.

Thousands of people flocked to Meat World Springs on Saturday to celebrate its 30th anniversary.

With stunning weather, the aroma of braaivleis in the air, top South African artists, delicious food, and a wide range of entertainment, the event offered the perfect atmosphere for a memorable celebration.

The first Meat World opened its doors in Springs at the Springs Fresh Produce Market on April 25, 1995, establishing the brand’s strategy of offering “The Best Quality Meat at the Lowest Prices.”

Three decades later, this friendly family butchery continues to serve thousands of loyal customers who travel from near and far for its top-quality meat and diverse range of products.

Lilly van Zyl (1) from Brakpan was one of the youngest visitors to the birthday celebrations.

Roan Steenkamp and his son Roan (6) from Strubenvale. The youngster was intrigued by the stilt walker.

Farida Anderson was second in the braai competition.

Mapelo Malau was one of the female contestants who participated in the braai competition.

Reuben Burger showcased his skills during the braai competition.

Magrieta (6) and her sister Mia Jansen van Rensburg (8) from Brakpan enjoyed the performances by top South African artists.

Tawana Nyakanyanga (1) from Benoni was accompanied by his parents, who came to take advantage of the great specials on offer on the day.

Isago Lebea (6) had a blast.

Top South African artists like Francois van Coke (pictured), MiCasa DJ Dazzy Funk, Pieter Smith, Ruhan du Toit, Bernice West, Mari Bosman, and Amapiano DJ Zan D performed at the Meat World Birthday Bash.

Nqobile Mlangeni, Gugulethu Mlangeni, Lukhanyo Baloyi, and Sonwabile Baloyi from Nigel had a blast.

The crowd was thrilled by the performances from top South African artists.

Jaundré Oberholzer (11) and Ryan Heydenrych (6) from Geduld enjoyed a fun-filled day.

Aletta Stapelberg from Springs, and William and Edwin Pretorius from Germiston, did some shopping at the butchery before joining the festivities.

The MC for the day was Patrick Shabangu.

Thabang Sehlako and Mpho Nkomo were two of the contestants who put their best braai skills to the test in the Meat World Braai Competition. Mpho was crowned the winner after an intense braai process and judging.

Kitty Kotze travelled from Centurion to get some Meat World biltong and enjoy the show.

Nicky le Roux placed third in the braai competition.

Vusi Lukhele from Secunda made sure not to miss out on the great specials.
