Since more than seven years, the Imam Kasso Gassama, originally from the Casamance and emblematic figure of the Parcelles Assainies unité 14, has distinguished himself by his exceptional humanitarian commitment. A man of faith and compassion, he mobilized his resources and influence to support the most vulnerable, thus embodying the fundamental principles of solidarity and sharing advocated by Islam. Aware of the socio-economic difficulties faced by many families, Imam Kasso Gassama set up structured and durable humanitarian actions. It regularly organises the distribution of basic foodstuffs – rice, oil, meat and other basic necessities – enabling many households to meet their basic needs. Its involvement goes far beyond food aid. Every year, on the occasion of the Maouloud, it organizes events with a strong spiritual and community dimension. At the same time, it set up free medical consultation campaigns, guaranteeing access to care for the most vulnerable populations and thus contributing to the reduction of health inequalities. Far from limiting himself to one-off assistance, Imam Kasso Gassama adopts a comprehensive and inclusive approach aimed at sustainably improving the living conditions of his community.
