In the Council of Ministers, Ousmane Sonko demands concrete results from his ministers

The Prime Minister has launched a reform of the Programme d’Appui à la Modernisation de l’Administration (PAMA), based on an independent evaluation. It intends to define a new strategic framework, to professionalize human resources through an operational trade register, to accelerate the digitization of administrative procedures and to adopt a new code of ethics for the public service. He promises a “powerful, modern and exemplary” administration. Ousmane Sonko announced the elaboration of a presidential directive and a circular of the Primate to frame the governance of the National Agenda of Transformation. These texts will lay down the responsibilities of the ministries, the periodicity of performance reviews and the mechanisms of redevability. The Prime Minister also calls for the recommendations of the recent major dialogues (Justice, Industry, Transport, Social Pact…) to be translated into concrete actions. The administrative mail will soon be 100% digital.
