In Walikale, Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), civilians and teams from Médecins sans frontières (MSF) are caught in the midst of violent conflict.

Increasing violence among armed factions in Walikale, DRC, has confined both the local population and our teams, hindering the distribution of aid. If the supply routes continue to be obstructed, our teams will deplete their critical medical supplies in two weeks. We urge all conflicting parties to safeguard civilians, healthcare facilities, and medical personnel in response to the violence faced by civilians and Médecins sans frontières (MSF) teams in Walikale, Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC).
