US President, Donald Trump has boasted that his country has “virtually unlimited” munitions to fight wars forever.
Trump stated this in a post on his Truth Social media account yesterday, just days after the US and Israel launched joint strikes in Iran.
“United States Munitions Stockpiles have, at the medium and upper medium grade, never been higher or better – As was stated to me today, we have a virtually unlimited supply of these weapons,” Trump said.
“Wars can be fought, “forever,” and very successfully, using just these supplies (which are better than other countries’ finest arms!).”
Meanwhile, the US military operation in Iran, dubbed Operation Epic Fury, began on Saturday after weeks of threats from Trump, who called for regime change in Tehran and an end to the Middle Eastern nation’s nuclear program.
Iran launched a counterattack, targeting Israel and other nations in the Gulf.
On Monday, Trump said the military operation in Iran could last for more than a month.
