Iran war: ‘We gave our enemies dizzying blow, defeated them’ – Supreme leader, Khamenei boasts

Iran’s Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Mojtaba Khamenei, has asserted that Iranians have delivered a ‘dizzying blow’ to the nation’s adversaries, namely Israel and the United States, during the conflict.

He stated that this achievement was made possible through the demonstration of unity and determination, further noting that the adversaries are now beginning to express “contradictory statements and nonsense.”

Khamenei, who has not made a public appearance since his ascension to the position of Supreme Leader, conveyed this message in a written statement for the Persian New Year.

He remarked that Iran and its allied forces in the region were “in no way” responsible for the attacks on Oman and Turkey during the conflict, instead attributing the blame to “deception by the Zionist enemy,” referring to Israel.

In his written Nowruz message on Friday, Khamenei added, “Currently, due to the unique unity that has been established among you, our compatriots – despite all differences in religious, intellectual, cultural, and political backgrounds – the enemy has been vanquished.”
