Italy’s legend Donadoni claims Lookman surpasses Leao.

Former Italy international Roberto Donadoni believes Ademola Lookman surpasses Rafael Leao in skill. The two will face off when AC Milan takes on Atalanta in a Serie A match at the San Siro on Saturday. Lookman has emerged as one of the top forwards in Serie A since joining Atalanta from Bundesliga’s RB Leipzig in 2022, and he has been awarded the club’s Player of the Season for the past two years. The Nigerian player significantly contributed to Atalanta’s success in the UEFA Europa League last season by netting a hat-trick in the final against Bayer Leverkusen. This season, Lookman has achieved 13 goals and five assists across 26 league matches for La Dea. Donadoni remarked to Milannews, “Both strikers can influence the outcome of the game, but if I had to pick one, I’d go with Lookman. He has shown more consistency, is vital for Gasperini, and demonstrated his value in the previous match against them.” Leão has experienced a mix of successes and failures, and this year he has had a tough time maintaining consistency.
