John Mahama Nominates Alban Bagbin as Speaker for Ghana’s 9th Parliament 

​ Accra, Ghana — President-elect John Dramani Mahama has actually nominated Rt. Hon. Alban Bagbin as Speaker for Ghana’s 9th Parliament. Following consultations between the National Executive and the National Democratic Congress ( NDC ), the announcement was made via a statement on January 5, 2024.
