Jose Mourinho Introduces New Wine Named ‘The Special One’

Jose Mourinho introduced his new red wine, ‘The Special One,’ on Instagram today (Monday) in his signature style. The 61-year-old stated in a promotional video (according to The Sun): “Finals, I’ve won them.” I’ve triumphed over leagues. I’ve never been a drinker. I create the bottle… “I would rather remain silent.” My accomplishments, my triumphs, my efforts. They communicate their meaning on their own. “This is the Special One, available for you to share.” The video starts with the Portuguese manager facing away from the camera while dramatic piano music plays in the background. The new entrepreneur donned a striking blue suit and sat still in a black leather chair before taking a sip of his drink. Mourinho made a clever nod to his famous vague remark about referee Chris Foy from 2014, when Foy had sent off Brazilian players Willian and Ramires during the Blues’ 1-0 loss to Aston Villa before ejecting Mourinho to the stands. This amusing interview is considered one of his finest and later became a viral meme. Mourinho launched his own wine, ‘The Special One,’ stating: “As someone who values precision, quality, and excellence in every endeavor, I am proud to present it. Handpicked from one of my favorite regions in Portugal, this wine embodies the spirit of my homeland and my unwavering desire to savor every moment in life. Crafted with passion and care, it is a gift from one special one to another.”
