Joshua ‘ Josh ‘ Taylor, a major fighter for the Otterbein University Caridnals wrestlers group, has tragically died in a car accident.
Taylor died in a fatal car crash in Ohio Thursday, January 2, 2025.
The wrestling team at Otterbein University announced Taylor’s dreadful passing in a Facebook post.
The article lamented the tragic news release that they had to make history.
No coaches ever want to make this article. We have lost junior wrestler Josh Taylor to a fatal car crash today, which is a terrible begin to 2025,” the post said. The home that has been left behind was also requested to pray in the prayer section.

The University right even released a statemnt. ” Otterbein mourns the tragic passing of sophomore men’s wrestler, Josh Taylor❤ ️” it wrote on Instagram.

Per the Open Mat, Josh Taylor was on a break this year, having accumlated a 6-1 document for winter 2024-25, his freshman season.
