Anthony Joshua has suggested that he might retire from boxing by the end of this year. The 35-year-old has not fought since his defeat against Daniel Dubois in the fifth round at Wembley last September. During an appearance on the Ariel Helwani Show, Joshua acknowledged his promotional team, Matchroom Boxing, who have been with him since he turned professional in 2013, but mentioned that he plans to throw his ‘last punch’ this year. “May you continue to rule for a long time, providing fighters the chance to become champions and making boxing thrive. It’s been 12 years since I joined you, and now I will throw my final punch alongside you.
