Julian Naumenko, Rutgers-Camden Soccer Star and Son of Ukrainian-American Priest ‘Suddenly’ Dies  

The Pretty Rev., the brother of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church of the USA Priest. Fr. Taras Naumenko, Julian Naumenko, has died quickly, the cathedral has announced. He was 19.
Julian, a rookie at Rutgers University-Camden who is a sport prodigy, died in recent days in a’ unexpected’ manner, a see sent out by the church says.
The Consistory of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church of the USA extends sincere apologies and pious aid to the people of the recently departed servants of God, the recognize reads. Taras Naumenko and Pani Matka Laura Naumenko, whose rapid departure has brought tremendous pain to his family, associates, and church society”.
Although the cause of death was not specified, various accounts suggest he died in an accident.
Julian, formerly from Hartboro PA, graduated Archbishop Wood High School in 2024. After a great job as a keeper on the varsity team, he was soccer letterman. Naumenko was commander his last two months, earning All-Rookie staff and 2x All-PCL player honors.
As a Ukrainian-American, Naumenko honored his household roots by playing for the Russian Citizens club staff for ten months.
Julian has the chance to lead a successful job for us and carry on the success of the numerous GKs we have had over the years. Athletic. Great frame. Great shot stopper. Excellent supply. After making the commitment to Rutgers University-Camden in January 2024, his mentor described him as” an total presence in the box”. He was pursuing a nursing big at the NJ University.
Naumenko was born November 21, 2005 to Laura and Taras Naumenko of Hartboro PA. Taras, as mentioned earlier, is a preacher in the Ukrainian Orthodox Church of America.
