Justice Le SYTJUST warns of an imminent resumption of the movement of moods

As a prelude to an announced resumption of their protest actions, the workers of justice, through their union, are calling on the public opinion and the authorities on a demand they consider fundamental. The Syndicat des Travailleurs de la Justice (SYTJUST) has put its demands on the table. In an explanatory note addressed to the press, SYTJUST informs citizens, journalists and stakeholders of the underlying reasons for this new iron arm with the State. According to El Hadji Ayé Boun Malick DIOP, national general secretary of the union, this communication aims to enlighten public opinion on “one of the main demands of the workers of justice”, without however revealing for the moment the details of the note, which remains attached to their communiqué. The trade union insists on the need to publicize these concerns, in order to raise a collective awareness of the crucial issues affecting the good functioning of the public service of justice in Senegal. The previous SYTJUST strikes have often paralysed numerous judicial services, leading to delays in proceedings and a congestion of the courts.
