Justice: The verdict has fallen for Mamadou Abdoulaye Guissé, the actors of Omart City convicted

The Tribunal d’Instance de Guédiéwaye has just made public its decisions concerning the Omart City case. According to information obtained by Kéwoulo, the judges distributed the sentences with a lot of humanity. Among the first elements obtained by Kéwoulo, we note that in the context of the deliberation of the Omart City trial held a month ago and which had for actors the writer “Grand-Laaye”, the photographer devenu Directeur de cabinet, Pape Mamadou Camara, and our “badienne nationale”, Maman Khady Faye, the tribunal a été plus que clément. If some expected that the sanction against Mamadou Abdoulaye Guissé would be very heavy, the judges who had the chance to have the enigmatic “Grand Laaye” as their client were neither tender nor severe towards him. Despite the gravity of the facts – more than 3000 complainants – Kéwoulo has learned that the developer, who wanted to build 100.000 social housing in Dakar against the payment of 5500 F CFA -moins de 10 Euros – has been found guilty of fraud. He was also sentenced to a two-year prison term. In addition to a fine, Mamadou Abdoulaye Guissé will also have to pay damages to Woré Cissé who paid 11 million CFA to Marième Ndiaye, the Director of Programmes of Omart City, the one who claimed to be “missionnée par l’État et être informée, en temps réel, par la DIC et la gendarmerie.
