Juventus are reportedly open to the possibility of selling striker Dusan Vlahovic during the January transfer window, following growing interest from Arsenal. This comes after news broke that Arsenal’s Gabriel Jesus will miss the rest of the season due to a serious knee injury.
Although Juventus have not yet received any formal offers for the Serbian forward, Gazzetta dello Sport and SportItalia’s Giovanni Albanese, as reported by Football Italia, suggest the Italian club could be willing to let Vlahovic go if a suitable bid is made.
Arsenal are actively seeking a replacement for Jesus after the Brazilian forward suffered a season-ending ACL injury, which will require surgery. The Gunners are now exploring their options in the market to bolster their attacking options during the winter window.
Vlahovic’s contract situation plays a role in Juventus’ willingness to entertain a sale. The 23-year-old, who joined the Bianconeri in 2022, has a contract that runs until the summer of 2026. However, with just over a year left before the final year of his deal begins, Juventus may find it difficult to negotiate a renewal, especially given that Vlahovic is currently the highest-paid player in Serie A.
If a strong offer arrives, Juventus could be inclined to sell now rather than risk losing Vlahovic for a lower price in the future.
