Agnes Adoma, the wife of Isaac Obeng, popularly known as Kasongo, has responded to critics who mocked their marriage after their pre-wedding photos went viral.
While some social media users focused on their love story, others cruelly labeled Kasongo as “ugly” and ridiculed various aspects of their union, including Agnes’s wedding ring.
In a recent interview, Agnes set the record straight regarding the cost of her wedding ring, shutting down claims that it was cheap. She disclosed that her husband recently upgraded her ring, proving his commitment to her.
According to her, the new ring cost GH₵1,500, contrary to the false reports suggesting otherwise. She confidently asked critics to stop spreading misinformation about the value of her jewellery, emphasizing that price does not determine the strength of their love.
Meanwhile, Kasongo also addressed the mockery surrounding his looks, making bold claims about his appearance. He insisted that he is far more handsome than popular Ghanaian celebrities Lilwin and Patapaa, both of whom have also been subjected to public scrutiny over their looks. He stated that those who call him “ugly” should first compare him to these celebrities before making such remarks.
Despite the criticism, the couple appears unbothered, standing firm in their love and proving that happiness in marriage is beyond physical appearances.
