​Kawtef: A faux sous-officier of the prison administration arrested in Mbour 

  The central police station of Mbour has put an end to the criminal acts of a false sous-officier of the prison administration. Le faussaire A. Diédhiou and his two accomplices, one of whom is a teacher, were presented this Friday to the procureur de la République. Member of the regional sub-commission of arbitrators (CRA) in Mbour, A. Diedhiou risked compromising his professional activity following his arrest by the men of Commissioner Bara Niang for usurpation of office. When he went to the Stade Caroline Faye, he sometimes wore his blouse with the effigy of the penitentiary administration, but the forger was unmasked on 15 January. On that day, while inspecting a public transport vehicle, a police officer suspected a passenger wearing the uniform of the prison administration with a gallon of the national gendarmerie. In order to decline his identity, A. Diédhiou presented himself as a sous-officier de l’administration pénitentiaire en service à la Maison d’Arrêt et de Correction (MAC) de Mbour. It is the case of the teacher E.N. Mbaye and the infographer S. Sow. Interrogated on the record, the two accused admitted to having made the false card for the account of the arbiter A. Diédhiou. They declared to have been rolled in the flour by A. Diédhiou whom they considered to be an agent of the prison administration. According to Seneweb sources close to the prosecutor’s office, the search carried out in the printing house belonging to the teacher E.N. Mbaye resulted in the seizure of a lot of 37 blank cards and 2 fake cards already made for the benefit of sapeurs-pompiers.
