The security operations continue in military zone 4, leading to the dismantling of two new clandestine gold-mining sites in Bambarding, in the Kédougou region, more precisely in the Falémé area. In a publication on his account X, the DIRPA (Direction de l’information et des relations publiques des Armées sénégalaises) announced the arrest of four orpailleurs, all originally from neighbouring countries. The police also seized 11 motorcycles and various materials used for these illegal activities. L’ensemble des objets saisis has been remitted to the Gendarmerie de Khossanto for further investigation.
