Yesterday evening, at around 8:30 p.m., the police station in Kolda was informed of a murder in the Sikilo-Est district during a demonstration of the “Kankourang”. According to sources of Libération, an immediate transport was organized to go to the place. The police discovered a male individual, extended to the same ground, throat trenched. The victim, identified as Amadou Woury Ba, was 16 years old. Rapidly, the elements of the Brigade de recherches have managed to interpeller the presumed murderer. The investigation revealed that the victim had been confronted by his executioner. After a seizure, the latter took out a knife to strike Amadou Woury Ba at the level of the neck. Interrogated summarily, the suspect, Ibrahima Seydi, aged 19, attempted to deny the facts, but his explanations did not convince the investigators, reports Libération.
