For a nation to be truly sovereign, it must imperatively understand its dependencies and interdependencies. This implies not only satisfying its internal needs, but also positioning itself strategically on the international scene. Sovereignty is based on the construction of a strong State, whose role is not limited to the royal functions (defense, justice) but encompasses the capacity to guarantee the prosperity and well-being of its citizens.
