Barcelona forward Robert Lewandowski has expressed that teammate Lamine Yamal, who is 18, is maturing and no longer a child. He believes that the young Spanish player will continue to excel in his career with Barça. The Polish international is confident that the talented teen will reach even greater heights. Yamal is already viewed as one of the top players globally at just eighteen. Lewandowski mentioned to Sport, “This year, he can outperform last year’s performance; each year he will improve, he is not a child anymore.” Yamal is regarded as one of the top contenders for the 2025 Ballon d’Or, thanks to his impressive record of 18 goals and 25 assists in 55 matches for Barça last season.
