Lere Olayinka, media aide to the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike has pulled out a throwback video of Rivers State Governor, Siminalayi Fubara kneeling down before Wike.
The video was captured in 2023 when the Independent National Electoral Commission INEC declared the governor winner of the state governorship election.
Lere apparently shared the video on his Facebook page to justify his recent action that triggered backlash.
Recall that the Arise TV Morning Show crew had dragged the FCT Minister’s media aide after he knelt down to serve his master at an event.
One of the show hosts, Reuben Abati described Lere’s action as “sycophancy taken too far“.
Sharing Fubara’s throwback video, Lere said “I am sure Oga Reuben Abati, EX-CONVICT rufaioseni and that Online Baseless Lawyer didn’t see this video then”.
