  The influential Senegalese actress Adji Mass Guèye was placed under mandat de dépôt on Monday 20 October, after her transfer to the Dakar High Court. This judicial decision follows his arrest, which took place on Friday 17 October at his domicile in Djily Mbaye, on the instructions of the procureur de la République. Adji Mass Guèye will be tried on Wednesday 22 October 2025, before the competent tribunal. Placed under mandat de dépôt, she will remain in provisional detention until her hearing.
