Liverpool has finalized a £56.6 million agreement to transfer Nunez to Al Hilal.

Sky Sports reports that Premier League champions Liverpool have come to an agreement with Al Hilal regarding the sale of Darwin Nunez. The Saudi Pro League team has proposed a base fee of £46.2m (€53m) along with potential add-ons that could increase the total to £56.6m (€65m). It is believed that Liverpool has not yet been notified that Nunez has agreed to the transfer. Additionally, Sky in Italy has indicated that Al Hilal is willing to meet Nunez’s salary expectations. AC Milan expressed interest and made an inquiry, but they were unlikely to offer figures comparable to those from Al Hilal. If Nunez departs from Anfield, he will have accomplished 40 goals in 143 appearances for the team since joining from Benfica in 2022 for an initial fee of £64 million. Even though he netted 18 goals during Jurgen Klopp’s last season, he only scored seven in the following season under Arne Slot, yet he did score two crucial stoppage-time goals that secured a 2-0 victory for Liverpool against Brentford in January.
