Nhlakanipho Mkhubuza is an artist from Duduza who is due to release two inspirational tracks to inspire and motivate others.

Duduza – Rapper and producer Nhlakanipho ‘TP The Real Musician’ Mkhubuza started making music in high school.

He described himself as someone who always loved attention and being the centre of it.

“Growing up, I re-created choruses and verses to memorable songs and did my freestyled chorus. In Grade Seven, my friends and I started writing lyrics and freestyle verses in class and used our phones to record those songs. We loved hip-hop.

“Many hip-hop artists inspired me, but my true inspiration came from NF (US rapper and singer). His songs talk about his painful experiences and his life. His music is highly relatable and inspirational,” he said.

Nhlakanipho looks up to Eminem, Hopsin, Luke Gawne, Vin Jay, Nasty C, A-Reece, Sim Cruz and Pristine Christ, among others.
He released the songs Rap is My Motive and Killer last September.

“I am working on a song called Pure Gold, which will release on March 30. Fans can also look for my upcoming single Hometown, featuring Frost. It will release in April.

“I dream of being the most famous and independent artist in SA. I want to make music about my authentic experiences in life as an outcast and inspire other artists to be true to themselves,” he added.

In conclusion, he said music has taught him to be responsible and outgoing and rap about his struggles.
