As firefighters struggle to contain the fire, significant fires are still ravaging southern California. They are sweeping through neighborhoods in and around Los Angeles. First responders have been given the logistical nightmare of containing the flames and saving homes and businesses while also attempting to assist people in getting to safety during size evacuation orders. On Wednesday, hurricane-force winds blew flames, igniting block after block in the southern area of Pacific Palisades and in Altadena, a neighborhood near Pasadena. Due to the winds, airplane were temporarily grounded, preventing rescue efforts.
