The “Grande Muette” is mourning the death in a traffic accident of the corporal-chief Moustapha Mané, in service to the 22nd battalion General Coumba Diouf Niang de Louga. The tragedy occurred yesterday around 11 am, on the trunk of the Louga military camp, at the height of the SOS Children’s Village. The motorcyclist and his passenger were seriously injured. After the police’s assessment, the victims were evacuated to the Amadou Sakhir Mbaye de Louga Regional Hospital by the firefighters. Unfortunately, the corporal-chef Moustapha Mané has succumbed to his wounds. As for the chauffeur of the particular vehicle, he is placed in custody in the premises of the police of Louga for involuntary homicide.
