On the eve of the Grand Magal de Touba, scheduled for tomorrow Wednesday 13 August, the President of the National Assembly, El Malick Ndiaye, made a donation of a beef to the detainees of the Maison d’arrêt et de correction (MAC) de Linguère. By this gesture, according to Source A, the second personality of the State wishes to allow incarcerated persons to participate in the spirit of Magal despite their situation. The initiative was warmly welcomed by the prison’s director, who saw it as a strong act of solidarity. The President of the National Assembly was represented by a delegation composed of his technical adviser, his chief of staff and local leaders of the Pastef party.
