Man arrested for selling fake health certificates

Tsakani – On Tuesday, at about 10:30, EMPD Tsakane Precinct officers arrested a 30-year-old man for fraud. According to Zweli Dlamini, CoE spokesperson, the officers in conjunction with Ekurhuleni health inspectors conducted a raid at an internet café on Ndabezitha Street after a tip-off about a man producing fraudulent documents – Ekurhuleni Certificate of Acceptability

Tsakani – On Tuesday, at about 10:30, EMPD Tsakane Precinct officers arrested a 30-year-old man for fraud.
According to Zweli Dlamini, CoE spokesperson, the officers in conjunction with Ekurhuleni health inspectors conducted a raid at an internet café on Ndabezitha Street after a tip-off about a man producing fraudulent documents – Ekurhuleni Certificate of Acceptability (compulsory for all food premises) – and selling them for R2 500.
The man was arrested after admitting to officers that he had sold the certificates to a few people.
Upon further investigations, officers discovered many of these certificates on the man’s computer.
The officers confiscated all the equipment and the suspect was arrested and detained at Tsakane Police Station.
