Medical visit of the future pilgrims of Chétiens: launch of operations ce vendredi 28 mars

In accordance with international health recommendations, the authorities require vaccination against yellow fever and meningitis for all pilgrims. These preventive measures are intended to protect the health of travellers and to limit the risks of the spread of infectious diseases in areas of high affluence. The Ministry therefore invites candidates to the pilgrimage to go without delay to the approved health centres in order to carry out the necessary examinations and comply with the medical requirements. It also recalls the importance of respecting all the sanitary recommendations to ensure a safe journey and a serene stay at places of worship. The health authorities, in collaboration with the local medical structures, will ensure the proper organisation of these visits and the respect of the protocols in force.
