L’équipe dirigée par le médecin capitaine Ndéye Seynabou Diop has just successfully carried out the very first caesarean section in the Military Hospital of the Campaign deployed by the Armies in Médina Yoro Foulah in the south of the country. Since 4 July, the date of the start of its activities, this mobile hospital has already provided more than 1 900 medical consultations and services to the local population, according to information provided by the Directorate of Information and Public Relations of the Armed Forces (Dirpa). This health deployment is part of the Armed Forces’ desire to bring health services closer to the populations of remote areas and to meet urgent needs for specialized care. Thanks to this initiative, many families now benefit from quality medical care, which is often difficult to access.
