​Message to the nation for the 65th anniversary of the independence of Senegal: the President calls for peace and resilience 

  During his address to the nation, in the run-up to the 65th celebration of the Independence Day, the President of the Republic, Bassirou Diomaye Faye, launched a message of peace and resilience to all the components of the nation. Conscious of the challenges facing the population, the President wanted to reassure himself by expressing all his commitment and that of his government to put on foot measures that will allow to meet the challenges of a strong and prosperous nation. “Our living together, founded on cardinal values, constitutes our common treasure. This is why national cohesion remains our only and unique compass. Convinced that the solidity of a nation is also measured by its capacity to. I would also like to say that I am very pleased with the work done by the Committee on Social Affairs and Employment. “We are in permanent consultation with all the components of our society”.
