The latest very short-term weather forecast predicts a globally stable and passagèrement cloudy weather over the whole country over the next 24 hours. However, the Direction de la météorologie nationale indicates that an episode of heavy rains could occur in the night, particularly in the Kédougou region, in the extreme south-east of the country. The populations concerned are thus invited to be vigilant in the face of possible storms and isolated storms. In other places, the climate should remain mild, with some cloudy passages without significant precipitation. These forecasts are valid from Friday 11 July to 12 noon or Saturday 12 July to 12 noon.
