The National Agency for Civil Aviation and Meteorology (ANACIM) announces rain and thunderstorms for this afternoon of Monday 28 July 2025, particularly in the Kédougou region. In the evening and during the night, heavy rains are also expected in Ziguinchor, Kolda, Tambacounda and Bakel. These precipitations could extend towards the Centre-Sud, affecting notably Kaffrine, Fatick et Kaolack, as well as the Nord-Est avec la région de Matam. Despite these rainy episodes, the heat will remain marked on the entire territory. The maximum temperatures will range between 31°C in Dakar and may reach up to 39°C in Matam. ANACIM calls on the population to remain vigilant in the face of the risks linked to storms and high temperatures.
