The Secretary-General of the Confédération nationale des travailleurs du Sénégal (CNS), Mody Guiro, yesterday wanted to be exhaustive, before the Prime Minister, by referring really to all the problems currently encountered by workers in all sectors, insisting on two major concerns: the agreements signed not respected and the dismissals recorded in the public and para-public sectors. “You must do everything to appease the social climate. The trade unionist, speaking on behalf of his comrades, called on the State to take charge of the grievances registers with “responsibility and objectivity”, stressing that “workers do not demand the impossible”.
