Moussa Tine: “We do not manage a state under the reflection of taxation”

Moussa Tine met en garde against the risks of a rupture at the top of the State. The President of the Alliance démocratique “Pencco” party calls for a more balanced economic management, focused on reducing fuel prices, in order to stimulate the economy, after having passed the peigne fin du Plan de redressement économique et social (Pres) and being offusqué de la fiscalité on which this plan is based. The President of the Alliance démocratique “Pencco” party, Moussa Tine, warned of the consequences that could provoke the rupture between Ousmane Sonko, Prime Minister, and Bassirou Diomaye Faye, the President of the Republic. S’exprimant sur cette question hier en tant qu’invité de “Face au Jury” sur PressAfrikTvhd, M. G. was asked to comment on this question by a member of the jury. It considers that such a political divorce could lead to serious problems in Senegal. Recalling the institutional crisis of 1962 between Léopold Sédar Senghor and Mamadou Dia, Moussa Tine considers it as a significant episode in the contemporary political history of the country. It is since this crisis, he underlines, that Senegal has not ceased to strengthen the powers of the President of the Republic, in order to avoid any confusion at the top of the State.
