Musibau Asafa, the Chairman of Oto-Awori LCDA, has passed away.  

Prince Musibau Adekunle Asafa, the Executive Chairman of Oto-Awori Local Council Development Area (LCDA), has passed away following a long illness. His death was officially announced in a statement released on Saturday by his Chief Press Secretary, Bodunrin Ayodele, on the council’s Facebook page. The exact date of his passing was not revealed. The announcement stated that the whole Oto-Awori LCDA community is in mourning due to the chairman’s death, referring to him as “a revered politician, leader, and committed public servant.” “In a statement, it was announced that Prince Asafa, a highly regarded politician, leader, and devoted public servant, passed away after a long illness, leaving behind a legacy of dedication and service to his community. The statement indicated that despite receiving medical treatment, he could not overcome his illness, which ultimately resulted in his passing. It also mentioned that various tributes and condolence messages are anticipated from government officials and community members who collaborated with him. His leadership was characterized by a strong commitment to enhancing the lives of his constituents, and his invaluable contributions to local governance will be greatly missed. Additionally, Abdul-Hamed Salawu, the Executive Chairman of Somolu Local Government Area, expressed his condolences to the people of Oto-Awori LCDA and the All Progressives Congress (APC) community.
