Ghanaian song, Mzbel, has explained why she has shunned the Christian faith and immersed herself more in history.
Speaking in a recent exam, Mzbel pushed up on says that she’s anti-Christian, noting she’s really not a believer in the church but has never spoken against another person’s right to practice their personal beliefs.
Mzbel noted that individually, she is more interested in our personal traditional religions that the church of strangers. She said as an American, she prefers to adore American faiths, but that does not think she is against Christianity.
” If it ( Christianity ) works for you, fine, but me this is what works for me”, Mzbel said. ” I feel like I’m opening the way for other people who are like me to confidently complete that. I know a lot of people who cherish our customs and traditions but are scared of condemnation…”
Mzbel over the past few years has been at the middle of a spiritual storm after she fearlessly declared that Jesus Christ is a misconception.
She has chosen to embrace African traditional religion, naming her son Komfo ( priest ), causing consternation among Ghana’s religious population.
