Napoli has rejected Galatasaray’s offer of €65 million for Nigerian forward Victor Osimhen. Osimhen joined the Turkish Super Lig champions on loan from Napoli last summer, and Okan Buruk’s team has the option to convert the loan into a permanent transfer. Italian news source Il Corriere dello Sport reports that Napoli has turned down Galatasaray’s bid to acquire the Nigerian player on a permanent basis this month. Osimhen is available for a €75m permanent transfer from the Serie A team, but Napoli is not inclined to negotiate the price. Earlier this month, the striker is said to have declined an opportunity to join Manchester United. He has netted 12 goals in 15 league games for Galatasaray this season. By Adeboye Amosu.
