Ndidi set to miss remainder of season through injury 

Super Eagles captain, Wilfred Ndidi could miss the remainder of the season due to a hamstring injury, DAILY POST reports.

Ndidi picked up the injury during Beşiktaş’ Istanbul derby defeat to Fenerbahçe last weekend.

The severity of the injury has now been ascertained, with scan showing the Nigerian suffered a Grade 2 hamstring injury.

The defensive midfielder is expected to be sidelined for up to six weeks, which is about the time left in the regular season in Turkey.

Wilfred has made 22 league appearances for the Black Eagles this season with two goals this name.

He joined Beşiktaş from Sky Bet Championship club Leicester City last summer.
