New Poland coach believes that it was incorrect to remove Lewandowski from the captaincy.

Jan Urban, the new manager of Poland, believes that former coach Michal Probierz made a significant error by removing star striker Robert Lewandowski from the captaincy. Lewandowski, who is 36 years old, announced his retirement from international play earlier this year after Probierz took away his captaincy. Following Probierz’s departure from the role, Urban has taken over and aims to mend the relationship with what many consider to be Poland’s greatest player. In my opinion, Lewandowski is a forward who will excel at scoring if you provide him with an opportunity. According to Urban in an interview with TribalFootball, he believes that Probierz, the previous manager, erred in stripping the captaincy from Robert. He regards Robert as a crucial player for the national team, regardless of his age. Apologies, but the statistics he’s achieving are outstanding, and he’s accomplishing this in the Spanish league, not in Saudi Arabia. Lewandowski continues to demonstrate remarkable performance, netting 42 goals and contributing three assists across 52 matches for Barcelona last season.
